Quick Rules Step 1 – Roll the Die Use the in-game d10 die (numbers 0–9). Step 2 – Add Your Attribute Modifier Check which Attribute applies (Charm, Looks, Intelligence, Constitution, Strength, Dexterity). Each Attribute level gives a modifier: Perfect → +5 Incredible → +4 Wonderful → +4 Terrific → +3 Great → +3 Awesome → +3 Splendid → +2 Sweet → +2 Good → +2 Pleasant → +1 Nice → +1 Decent → +1 Above Average → 0 Mediocre → -1 Below Average → -2 Poor → -3 Terrible → -3 Step 3 – Beat the Difficulty Class (DC) The DC is a number set by the storyteller or agreed upon by players. Your roll + modifier must be equal to or higher than the DC to succeed. Examples of DCs DC 5 (Easy): Everyday tasks. Ex: Convincing a drunk friend to drink another beer.
