Popmundo (funny D&D Style With d10)

Quick Rules

Step 1 – Roll the Die

Use the in-game d10 die (numbers 0–9).

Step 2 – Add Your Attribute Modifier

Check which Attribute applies (Charm, Looks, Intelligence, Constitution, Strength, Dexterity).
Each Attribute level gives a modifier:

  • Perfect → +5
  • Incredible → +4
  • Wonderful → +4
  • Terrific → +3
  • Great → +3
  • Awesome → +3
  • Splendid → +2
  • Sweet → +2
  • Good → +2
  • Pleasant → +1
  • Nice → +1
  • Decent → +1
  • Above Average → 0
  • Mediocre → -1
  • Below Average → -2
  • Poor → -3
  • Terrible → -3

Step 3 – Beat the Difficulty Class (DC)

The DC is a number set by the storyteller or agreed upon by players.
Your roll + modifier must be equal to or higher than the DC to succeed.

Examples of DCs

  • DC 5 (Easy): Everyday tasks.
Ex: Convincing a drunk friend to drink another beer.
  • DC 8 (Normal): Needs some skill.
Ex: Climbing a garden wall without falling.
  • DC 12 (Hard): Challenging actions.
Ex: Solving a tricky riddle quickly.
  • DC 15 (Heroic): Very difficult, rare success.
Ex: Lifting a heavy iron gate or charming a hostile crowd.

That’s it. Roll → Add modifier → Compare to DC → Succeed or fail.
