Each Attribute level gives a modifier:

- Terrific → +3
- Great → +3
- Awesome → +3
- Splendid → +2
- Sweet → +2

Step 3 –
Beat the Difficulty Class (DC)
The DC is a number set by the
storyteller or agreed upon by players.
Your roll + modifier must be equal to or higher than the DC to succeed.
Examples of
DCs
- DC 5 (Easy):
Everyday tasks.
Ex: Convincing a drunk friend to drink another beer. - DC 8 (Normal): Needs
some skill.
Ex: Climbing a garden wall without falling. - DC 12 (Hard):
Challenging actions.
Ex: Solving a tricky riddle quickly. - DC 15 (Heroic): Very
difficult, rare success.
Ex: Lifting a heavy iron gate or charming a hostile crowd.
✨ That’s it. Roll → Add modifier → Compare to DC → Succeed or fail.
